SWIFT action by firefighters saved a static home in the Meon Valley.
Two crews were called out to the property in Droxford at around 10.30am yesterday, Boxing Day.
The fire had started in the roof but the flames were extinguished, before serious damage was caused, with two hose reels operated by the crews from Bishop's Waltham and Fareham.
