SCHOOL children from the Winchester district feature in our nativity section of today's Hampshire Chronicle.
This year, performances were able to happen without the restrictions faced by families last year.
The ancient tale has been performed by infant and primary schools alike to commemorate the birth of Jesus and to celebrate the festive season.
From shepherds and angels to little stars, youngsters at schools and pre-schools across Winchester and the district have been busy with rehearsals and productions.
The imaginative backdrops and sturdy wooden mangers are testament to the energy and enthusiasm of teaching staff and are much appreciated by the junior casts, judging from their glowing faces and gleeful postures.
A total of 12 schools and pre-schools sent in photos and you can see them all in the Hampshire Chronicle today.
