A CHEF working in Bournemouth was found unresponsive in the hotel he was living in by a colleague.
Domenico De Lucia, 36, from Clitheroe was living at the Lloyds Hotel in West Hill Road, Bournemouth, while working as a chef in the town.
On October 23, a colleague picking him up for work found him unresponsive and “cold to touch” in his room.
The inquest into his death was opened at Bournemouth Town Hall on Thursday.
Ms Morgan said paramedics were called and pronounced him dead at the scene.
A post mortem carried out at Holy Tree Lodge found Mr De Lucia’s medical cause of death was fatal cocaine toxicity.
Area coroner for Dorset, Brendan Allen, adjourned the inquest for a review hearing in February, 2022.
