TWO boys who started a fire in toilets at a Winchester secondary school have been dealt with.
The incident was at The Westgate School in Cheriton Road, Fulflood, at around 3.50pm on Thursday October 14.
A police spokesman said: "This matter involved two teenage boys and has been resolved by way of a community resolution."
The school never replied to a request for comment.
The arson was started using paper and books and was tackled by a teacher with a fire extinguisher.
The fire service was called and firefighters used ventilation fans to clear the smoke from the building.
Community resolution is a way of dealing with offences without recourse to the criminal justice system. They are usually are aimed at first-time offenders and for isolated incidents.
