TWO men burgled a property in Chandler’s Ford yesterday and threatened a person with a knife.
Police were called at 7.15pm to reports that two men had entered an address in Lakewood Road on Thursday.
A nearby neighbour who had heard a burglar alarm, was threatened with a knife as the two men fled the scene.
Officers have made a number of enquiries and are now asking the public for help.
Police have said that extra patrols are being carried out in the area.
Detective Sergeant Simon Price of Hampshire Constabulary’s Operation Hawk team, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who may have seen any suspicious vehicles or people in the locality yesterday.
“Our officers will be carrying out extra patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community and to continue their enquiries.”
