A WINCHESTER driver has been fined for failing to help police with enquiries over a traffic offence.
Harry Smith, 39, of Pitt Road, failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver/rider of a vehicle when required after an incident involving a 19-reg Ford vehicle at Droitwich in Worcestershire on May 11.
It was proved under the single justice procedure. Smith was not present in court.
Hereford Magistrates Court fined Smith £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £90 costs and six penalty points on his driving licence. The fines must be paid by December 2.
An allegation of speeding at more than 30mph on April 5 on the B4088 at Harvington, Worcestershire, was withdrawn.
