SIR: My daughter lives on a quiet lane in Twyford, that is in actual fact not open to the public. Basically only the people who live on the lane and the farm vehicles use it. On the evening of the 2nd of November the body of their beloved cat was found with head injuries where she'd been hit by a vehicle.

Images from a neighbour's security camera show a vehicle passing at speed which we believe was the one used in a case of fly-tipping at about the time the cat died.

I am so angry..on two counts: one, the heart ache caused by an accident that needn't have happened and, two, the fly-tipping.

I hope you print this in the hope that these eco-vandals see it and understand the dire consequences of their illegal behaviour.
