A MAN from Southampton has died after a car collided with a tree on Saturday morning.
Police were called at 6.30am after the white Ford C-Max crashed into the tree on Portsmouth Road at Fisher's Pond near Eastleigh.
It has now been confirmed that a 32-year-old man from Southampton died in the incident which happened close to the junbction with Hurst Lane.
His family have been informed and are being supported.
Flowers and notes have been left at the scee over the weekend.
Now, officers investigating the crash are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
They are said to be particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle in the moments leading up to the crash.
