A RECLUSIVE man who was estranged from his family was found dead in a chair at his home, an inquest opening heard.
Peter Daniel Miller was discovered at his home in Ashburton Road, Alresford, on September 22.
An inquest was opened into his death by area coroner Jason Pegg at Winchester Coroner’s Court.
Mr Pegg said that the 64-year-old was estranged from his family and “lived a fairly reclusive life”.
A preliminary cause of death was given as septicaemia, bronchopneumonia, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, deep sacral pressure sore and diabetes mellitus.
Mr Pegg adjourned the hearing for a full inquest to take place on May 23, next year.
