A CHERITON villager died from exposure to asbestos, an inquest heard.
Vivian Pain, 78, of Alresford Road, died at her home on September 21.
Mrs Pain had been diagnosed with mesothelioma in July last year but was not sure how she could have been exposed to asbestos, the hearing was told.
Area coroner Jason Pegg adjourned the inquest in Winchester for further inquiries into her exposure to the material.
The inquest is due to be resumed on November 22.
