A VAN was destroyed and another vehicle badly damaged during a suspected arson in Winnall.
Firefighters from Winchester were called to a transit and camper van alight on St Martin’s Close shortly before 2am on September 8.
A call was made to the service at 1.58am, and the crew worked to extinguish the flames using two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the blaze, with police attending the scene as it is believed the fire was set deliberately.
The Chronicle has contacted Hampshire Constabulary for further information and awaits a response.
Firefighters left the scene at 3:29am.
