A ROMSEY man has died following a fall from a "great height" in a paragliding incident.
Christopher Paul Sparham, 62, suffered severe injuries, an inquest heard in Winchester.
The incident happened on August 10 and Mr Sparham, of Hunters Crescent, died in Southampton General Hospital on August 31 the hearing heard in Winchester today (Wednesday).
Area coroner Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp said Mr Sparham "sustained a fall from a great height", although the exact distance was not stated or where it occurred.
Consultant pathologist Bineeta Foria conducted a post mortem and said the cause of death was multi-organ failure and multiple injuries.
The inquest was adjourned to May 3 2022.
