TWO popular eateries in Winchester City Centre have closed their doors for good.
Slug and Lettuce in The Square and Eat, Drink and Be in the High Street are the latest businesses to permanently shut.
The reasons why are currently unclear.

Last weekend was Slug and Lettuce's last, according to a sign on the window.
A sign in the window of Eat, Drink and Be says: "After six years we are sorry to say we have served our last customers. A big thank you for all your support and custom."
The Chronicle has contacted both businesses and awaits a response.
