LETTER: What is the aim of 'vaccination or sacked' is it just crude bullying?
SIR: I note that care home workers are to be vaccinated or sacked.
Vaccination has the effect of reducing the severity of Covid, while the care worker may still get Covid and transmit it.
Care home residents will themselves have been vaccinated. What is the aim of this crude bullying?
A care home trustee Barbara Korzeniowska, writing in a national newspaper, notes that most of her care home staff acquired direct protection through having suffered from Covid.
The French “Covid Passport” requires any of vaccination, evidence of Covid recovery, or a negative Covid test.
Does the House of Commons have a justification for their “vaccinate or sack” decision?
