TWO men attempted to break into a property in Preston Candover on Monday night but were disturbed and fled the scene.
Police are appealing for information following reports of an attempted burglary in Alresford Road on August 30.
At 11.04pm, police were called to reports of two men in a silver Honda CR-V trying to gain access to a part of the property.
They were disturbed and fled the scene. According to a police spokesperson nothing was reported stolen.
The incident comes five days after another attempted burglary was reported to police at a property in Winchester Road, near Kingsclere.
The spokesperson said: “Again, the suspects were disturbed before fleeing the scene and nothing was reported stolen. At this time, there is nothing to suggest both incidents are linked.
“We would like to take this opportunity to remind homeowners to immediately phone the police if they see any suspicious activity near their property.”
