A WINCHESTER man has been cleared of attacking a police officer but convicted of threatening behaviour.
James Michael Hogan, 36, of Christchurch Road, was convicted at trial of threatening behaviour in Winchester on June 3.
He was fined £70 with a £34 victim surcharge and £35 costs.
An allegation of assaulting PC Guy Dempsey on June 3 was denied and Hogan was acquitted after a trial at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
Hogan was convicted of failing to attend magistrates court on June 22 and was fined £90.
