SIR: Developers in Winchester must surely have a responsibility to the wider community.
Inadequate restoration works including sunken road surfaces (access for development), broken kerb stones, damaged footpaths and cycle ways, blocked road gullies all need to be actioned.
These costs involved should no longer be born by the public purse.
Motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, visitors and presumably potential property buyers are all currently subjected to a third world experience.
