Now it is time to shed light on how Weeke looked in the 1940s and 50s.
These photos, provided by Hampshire Cultural Trust, show historic moments in the parish including the construction of new houses and a royal visit.
The Trust has access to the Chronicle's archives and has made this feature possible.
