Mooboo: the new bubble tea shop in Winchester
A NEW shop is coming to Winchester – and it will sell a Taiwanese delicacy.
Mooboo has already decorated its storefront in Middle Brook Street.
It will sell bubble tea, a drink that originated in Taiwan in the early 1980s.
Most commonly the beverage consists of tea accompanied by chewy tapioca balls, but it can be made with other toppings as well.
There is often a bubble tea stand on the Winchester market and a stall is sometimes set up in West Quay, Southampton.
It is currently unclear when Mooboo in the city will open its doors.
The company has stores in London, as well as Portsmouth and Brighton.
