A SOUTHAMPTON man was caught with pepper spray and an extendable baton.
Arkadiusz Oskar Lewkiewicz was caught with the two offensive weapons in a public place in Southampton.
The 24-year-old of Laundry Road was charged with possessing an offensive weapon and possessing a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of a noxious liquid.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to the offences which happened in June this year.
He was jailed for six months, suspended for 18 months. He must complete 100 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation days.
Lewkiewicz must pay £85 in costs and a £128 victim surcharge.
