A HAMPSHIRE man has been jailed for a string of offences including burglaries in Winchester.
Matthew James Lavous, 51, admitted burglary at Pret A Manger, stealing food on October 16 and three bottles of Prosecco from Tesco on October 24, both on Winchester High Street. On the latter day he threatened PC Rahim Ahmed. He pleaded guilty.
Magistrates in Basingstoke jailed Lavour, of Montgomery Road, Farnborough, for 33 weeks and ordered he pay a £128 victim surcharge.
