Speed cameras will be sited across Avon and Somerset this week
A DRIVER has been banned after speeding in an Itchen Valley village.
Catherine Hughes, of Orchard Close, Alresford, was clocked doing 37mph on the B3047 at Martyr Worthy, a court heard. The limit is 30mph.
She was driving a 10-reg Lexus RX on October 7 last year.
Hughes pleaded guilty to the offence during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
Magistrates imposed a six-month ban for repeat offending and fined her £128.
The 57-year-old must also pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
