A SECTION of a major road near Winchester will be closed overnight this weekend.
Highways England say the section between the B3047 London Road near Kings Worthy and the A34 will be closed to allow for work on the bridge over the River Itchen.
The closure will be on Saturday and Sunday between 9pm and 6am. Signed diversions will be in place.
As work continues to the River Itchen bridge at Kings Worthy, the #A33 link from B3047 London Rd to #A34 will be closed overnight on Sat 26 and Sun 27 June 9pm to 6am.
