Here is a summary of this week’s:

l Highways England has announced a notice of consultation for major changes at junction 9 of the M3 at Winnall.

The scheme is intended to reduce congestion and improve journeys between the M3 and the A34.

These include widening the motorway into four lanes; rearranging the junction roundabout; three new bridges and other structures including new underpasses; revised walking and cycling routes; new connecting roads and improved slip roads.

Under section 47 of the Planning Act 2008 the agency has announced a public consultation with a Statement of Community Consultation. The scheme can be viewed on website: www.highwaysengland.co.uk/m3junction9. The consultation runs from May 27 to July 8.

l Notice is hereby given that Greene King Retailing Limited has applied in respect of the Roebuck, 57 Stockbridge Road, Winchester, S022 6RP for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for: This is an application to change the layout and design of the premises is accordance with the submitted plan. The changes consists of the addition of an external bar servery. To add the following conditions to the premises licence: The external bar servery will only be used between the hours of Midday and 21.00 hours daily. The external bar servery will be supervised at all times when in use.The external bar servery will be inaccessible to customers when not in use to ensure they do not have access to any alcohol.
