A YOUNG man serving in the Royal Navy was found hanging at a military base near Winchester.
Oliver Monaghan-White was pronounced dead at Worthy Down Camp, Riley Road on June 1.
Police were called to the 24-year-old's accommodation where he was found deceased, an inquest opening heard.
A post mortem by Dr Balvinder Shoker at Winchester Hospital found the preliminary cause of death as hanging.
Area coroner Jason Pegg adjourned the full inquest to February 9 2022.
