Speed cameras on the motorway
A MOTORIST who was caught driving at nearly double the speed limit on a Hampshire motorway has been disqualified for just two months.
Anton Cela was captured on the M27 westbound between junctions 2 and 1 at Cadnam driving a Lexus RH450 at 133mph – the legal limit is 70.
The 46-year-old of Barn Piece, Chandler’s Ford, pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court to the offence which took place on May 31, last year.
He was also fined £461 and was told to pay £85 court costs and a £46 victim surcharge.
