Partial and full road closure occured along the A33 at Micheldever, as well as further north between Larwhistle and Woodmancott
SIR: re; Travellers horse race returning to A33 bear Micheldever (Chronicle, May 13). If the police can not handle this they should bring in the army. They are breaking the law.
So what they are saying is, anyone can do this and nothing will happen. So if all the bikers got together they could do the same and there is nothing they can do.
The chief inspector should resign, if they cannot uphold the law. This is disgusting that the police are too scared to do anything. It is time they did their job.
