POLICE are attempting to identify the driver of a car that was involved in a hit and run crash which knocked a cyclist off their bike.
The crash on the A27 Botley Road in North Baddesley involved a Toyota Corolla and the cyclist.
Emergency services were called to the scene following the collision at around 10.50am on Friday, May 14.
The rider of the bike suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Police want to speak to the driver of the vehicle after it was seen to stop beyond traffic lights on Rownhams Road, get out of the vehicle to check on the injured cyclist, and then made a decision to drive away from the scene without stopping.
Hampshire Constabulary said the Toyota is believed to be silver or light blue.
The car is likely to have sustained damage to the passenger side wing mirror, after leaving debris at the scene.
