NO patients with coronavirus have died in Hampshire for the fourth straight day.

Data released by NHS England today has shown that no deaths have been recorded in the county since April 28.

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, the total amount of coronavirus patients that have died in the county stands at 1,906.

University Hospital Southampton remains at 483 deaths whilst Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust stays at 439, for the tenth day.

Solent NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Trust have also recorded 15 and 58 deaths respectively since the start of the pandemic.

Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust remains at 911 deaths.

In the Winchester district there is only one area with more than two cases in the seven days to Tuesday April 27. That is Bishop's Waltham and Waltham Chase where there have been just three cases in the seven days to April 27.

Since the start of the pandemic there have been 4,943 cases, with no rises for the past two days.
