WINCHESTER district is potentially Covid-free for the first time in more than six months.

The official Government shows the 14 areas of the district with two or fewer new cases in the seven days to April 21, marking them white on the map. Wednesday April 21 is the most recent day for which localised figures are available.

The last two area with more than two cases over the weekend had been Whiteley, Knowle and Wickham and Winchester Central and South.

It is unclear whether there are no cases in an area or just one or two.
