A CAR smashed into a telegraph pole causing a main Meon Valley road to close.
Police were called to Botley Road in Bishop's Waltham yesterday (Sunday) following a report of a single vehicle collision.
A grey BMW 330CI lost control and collided with a telegraph pole, causing damage to two poles which blocked the road.
The road was clear by 9.34pm. No-one was injured.
The collision is being treated as an accident at this time.
