TWO Winchester men were arrested in connection with drug offences after police pulled over a vehicle.

A routine stop search was conducted in Hedge End at around 2.50pm on Saturday April 17.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Timpson’s Tollbar Way after observing poor driving standards.

The driver failed a drugs wipe, while a quantity of Class B drugs were also located and seized as a result.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

His passenger, a 20-year-old man, was also searched with a quantity of drugs located and seized. He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

Both men have been released under investigation.
