TWO men fled from the cricket pavilion in Cheriton on Thursday after they were spotted trying to break-in.
The men were seen by police at around 10pm trying to gain entry to the building. PCSO Griffiths and Mills gave chase.
A post on Winchester Police’s Facebook page said: “PCSOs Griffiths and Mills gave chase where one of the male’s couldn’t get away quick enough so decided to leave his bicycle for us to look after for safekeeping.
“Police are currently making enquiries to establish who this bike belongs to.”
Anyone who may have any information as to the potential culprits or the owner of the bicycle are asked to contact Hampshire police on 101 quoting crime reference number 44210134466.
