Two-year ban for Winchester drink driver
A WINCHESTER man who was nearly three times the legal drink driving limit has been disqualified for two years.
Callum Reece MacIntyre, 24, of St Matthew's Road, Weeke, was stopped by police officers on March 6.
McIntyre was driving a 64-reg Black Seat Ibiza on Garnier Road, St Cross. His alcohol reading was 93 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35. He pleaded guilty.
Magistrates in Basingstoke banned him for two years and ordered he pay a £423 fine, £42 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The ban will be cut by 169 days if he passes an approved course by August 14 2022.
