A DRINK driver caught on a country road near Winchester has received an interim disqualification.
Andrew James Edwards, 44, was breathalysed on Belmore Lane, near Owslebury, on June 22 last year. He was driving an 08-reg Peugeot 206.
His alcohol reading was 117 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
Edwards, of Penclawdd, Swansea, Wales, admitted the charge when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court by live video link.
He was released on unconditional bail for a hearing at Aldershot Magistrates Court on July 16.
