A WINCHESTER man has been fined for the illegal riding of two motorbikes in the city and obstructing a police officer.
Jason Lee Alford, 31, admitted riding a 14-reg Yamaha 125cc and a 20-reg 125cc machine on St Cross Road on June 27 otherwise than in accordance with a licence, a court heard.
Alford, of Eversley Place, Stanmore, also pleaded guilty to obstructing PC Farquharson on the same day.
He had initially denied the charges but changed his plea at a late stage.
Another charge of failing to have a registration plate properly secured was dismissed with no evidence offered.
Magistrates in Basingstoke fined him £120 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Three penalty points were added to his driving licence.
