A WINCHESTER woman who was prone to falling over died in hospital, an inquest opening heard.
Kathleen Hobbs, 73, resided at Chesil Lodge – an assisting living facility in the city centre.
She suffered multiple falls towards the end of last year and was discharged from hospital on December 8.
But two days later she fell again and was taken to Royal Hampshire County Hospital, where she died on February 6.
The medical cause of death has been given as coronavirus with multiple falls contributing.
Area coroner Jason Pegg has adjourned the full inquest to July 8, to be heard in Winchester.
