UNCERTAINTY surrounds the future of a popular salon in the heart of Winchester.
Tony Mawson, managing director of Mawson and Company, is seeking creditors' consent to appoint two professionals as joint liquidators.
A public notice on the Chronicle's website regarding this can be seen by clicking here.
But the store in The Square is still taking bookings via its website, and its most recent post on Facebook said: "We are delighted to announce that we will be reopening on April 12. Please bear with us and we will provide a further update very soon."
Nothing has been posted on social media since. It is unclear what this means for the salon.
The public notice says that Whiteley-based Michael Robert Fortune and Carl Derek Faulds, of Portland Business and Financial Solutions, will be appointed as joint liquidators if consent is given.
The Chronicle has contacted both Mawson and Company and Portland but awaits a response from both.
