Train line blocked between Basingstoke and Winchester due to technical fault
TRAVEL disruption expected after a technical issue on the train line between Basingstoke and Winchester.
The Southampton bound line is currently blocked after an issue was discovered with a set of points.
South Western Railway have warned that trains may be cancelled delayed or changed due to the issue.
In a tweet, the company wrote: " We've been informed that there is a problem with a set of points between Basingstoke and Winchester and the Southampton bound line is currently blocked. Trains may be cancelled, delayed or changed due to this.”
Disruption is expected until 6pm this evening.
