A WOMAN caught nearly three times the legal alcohol limit last Christmas has been banned from driving for two years.
Alison Jane Osmond, 54, of Stuart Crescent, Stanmore, was stopped on December 23. She was driving a 03-reg Vauxhall Corsa on Cromwell Road.
Her alcohol reading was 95 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35.
She pleaded guilty to the charge and was banned for 24 months, fined £160 with a £34 victim surcharge and £50 costs.
The ban will be cut by 183 days if Osmond passes an approved course by June 16 2022.
