AN Alresford artist is bringing some colour and cheer to residents in the town.
Tash Hillary has turned to window painting in the lockdown as her face painting business has been put on hold by the pandemic.
She has recently helped bring colour to Alresford Surgery on Station Road.
“Like many I have found this lockdown the toughest. So I approached our local surgery to see if I could do a design on the surgery windows to spread some colour and joy to our community alongside some positive messages.
“I just wanted to brighten the town up and hopefully bring some smiles to people’s faces.”
The work took eight hours and has been met with a positive response. “I am delighted to hear it has brought some joy to our community. I even added a ladybird into the design for the children to find on their daily exercise.”
Tash said: “I’ve had some lovely messages from the community about the rainbow and captain Tom quote, so I’m delighted it’s cheering people on.”
