AN ALLEGED drug dealer in Winchester has appeared in court.
The man from London has been charged as part of a Operation Monument drugs investigation into a County Line being run between London and Winchester.
Tyrese Forrest, 19, of Peckham Grove, Southwark, south London, has been charged with being the supply of class A drugs between October 10 2020 to February 11 2021.
Forrest appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court and was remanded to appear at Winchester Crown Court on March 24.
He is the second man charged recently in connection with Operation Monument in Winchester. As reported, Theo Beckford, 21, of Lambeth, south London, was arrested and appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court to be remanded into custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on March 17.
Operation Monument is the Hampshire response to collaborative working with the Metropolitan Police Op Orochi to disrupt and dismantle county drug lines, in order to reduce drug supply and the related harm.
