A 30-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man suffered multiple stab wounds.
Police were called to Devenish Road, Weeke, at just after 11pm on Saturday to reports of a serious assault.
Officers found a 29-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries, they are not considered to be life-threatening.
A 30-year-old man from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. A 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, both from Winchester, were also arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
A police spokesperson said that all three have been released on bail as enquiries continue.
The spokesperson added: “This is believed to be an isolated incident with no threat to the wider community at this time.”
