A WINCHESTER drug driver has been banned from the roads for a year.
Richard French, 44, of Trussell Crescent, Weeke, was whilst driving a 08-reg BMW 530 stopped by officers in Andover Road, Winchester, on July 11 last year.
When tested, his level of benzoylecgonine, a breakdown compound of cocaine, in his blood was 95µg/L when the legal limit is 50µg/L. He admitted the charge.
Magistrates in Basingstoke fined French £200 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
