SIR: Like many I am exempt from wearing a mask, but I do in the doctors surgery and the hospital. I won't go into why I am exempt.
But I have noticed those who wear the Sunflower lanyard, provided by many shops, some like me get bullied.
Take one day last week, one lady called me a Covid spreader! Another lady as me and my partner got off the bus remarked to the driver we were not wearing masks and one elderly gentlemen sadly said you are only wearing it as a gimmick. I politely walked away from them all.
I ask that if people see someone wearing the hidden disability sunflower mask and lanyard, be polite, keep in mind that there are exemptions and these could for many reasons, do not single out the people and everyone stay safe.
I've had my say and would be interested in others people's views.
