IT COULD be an icy couple of days for Winchester.
The Met Office has issued a Yellow Ice Warning for the district – along with almost all of Hampshire.
For now, the warning is forecasted for today (Friday January 15) and tomorrow, but an extension is possible.
Rain and sleet is likely, leaving a risk of icy surfaces and difficult travel conditions.
Experts believe there may be some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, and are advising people to be cautious of icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
