SIR: On Christmas Day I took the family on my favourite walk which takes a couple of hours, and takes us along a footpath close to Sparsholt village.
In previous years, there has been a tree where they’ve hung Christmas decorations, and this year we were delighted to see a whole row of trees where they have hung decorations, elves, and various other Christmassy figures.
It made us smile - we really appreciate the trouble they have gone to. Thank you, Sparsholt village for bringing some Christmas joy to our family and other passers by. After the year we’ve all had, this sort of kindness and thought is like having a warm hug.
