SIR: I knew the vaccine was coming; I knew it was in Winchester and that the roll-out would be happening soon. That alone was hugely reassuring.
I was not prepared for the overwhelming feeling of joy and emotional relief I felt on Monday morning when St Clement’s Surgery called to say they would vaccinate my Mum this week.
This is surely the best present anyone with an older relative could have this year for Christmas?
