A WINCHESTER man has been banned from the road for drug driving.

Naeem Mojid, 23, of Keats Close, Oliver's Battery, was stopped by officers on St Cross Road on April 21.

Mojid was in a 15-reg Ford Fiesta when his breath was tested and found to have a cannabis level of 3.3µg/L when the legal limit is 2.

He admitted the offence when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court and was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £220 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
