A WINCHESTER man has been disqualified from driving for 16 months.
Richard Henry Mead, 24, of Roundhuts Rise, Winnall, was in a 60-reg Citroen Despatch when stopped by officers on Maple Drive in Kings Worthy on October 24.
His alcohol reading was 60 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
Mead pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court and as well as the ban he was fined £120 with a victim surcharge of £33.97 and £85 costs.
The ban will be reduced by 16 weeks if he passes a driving course in October 9 2021.
